- Validity: The APEDA certificate is valid for five years from the date of issuance and is auto-renewed upon payment of the renewal fee.
Penalties for Non-Compliance
- Fines & Imprisonment: Non-compliance can result in imprisonment for up to six months [cite: 366] or a starting fine of ₹1,000, with an additional ₹50 per day for continuous violations.
- Cancellation Rules: APEDA can cancel your RCMC if you do not conduct any export business for 12 consecutive months , or if you are found providing false or misleading information.
